The exhibition, titled What the Bride Wore, will showcase stunning marriage ceremony robes and outfits worn by brides over the a long time, with pictures and equipment.

The occasion, on Saturday, Might 7 from 11am to 3pm, is being held at Viables Craft Centre, within the Harrow Approach and has been organized by the Girls’s Institute Hampshire.

A complete of 28 clothes, two saris and 5 bridesmaids’ clothes shall be on show, a few of which have attention-grabbing tales behind them.

Sue Atrill, who has helped arrange the exhibition, has included her personal marriage ceremony gown within the show, which was worn by three brides, considered one of whom was her mom.

She mentioned: “The goal is to indicate the stunning clothes worn by ladies over the previous 100 or so years. We now have clothes from 1902 as much as the current day.”
