A NOSTALGIC wedding ceremony gown show attracted scores of individuals to Barton Village Corridor final month.
The occasion, on Sunday, April 24, was the primary fundraiser of the 12 months on the venue and was attended by greater than 70 individuals.
Village corridor administration committee member Martin Wright mentioned some 26 wedding ceremony attire, worn by girls from the village on their special occasion, together with assorted wedding ceremony memorabilia, pictures and flowers have been on show.
He added: “The afternoon was a celebration of wedding ceremony vogue by means of the generations and the nostalgia it evoked.
“The attire illustrated fantastically how design traits, supplies and types have modified over the 80 years represented.
“In reality, one gown from 1942 was made nearly completely from parachute silk.”
