Everyone who knows me knows that I love British bridal brand Halfpenny London. It was founded by Kate Halfpenny and was the first brand I wrote about on Love My Dress in January 2010.

Since then, Kate and I have become friends and I have loved watching their brand evolve over the past 11 years – it often feels like my own brand’s story is intertwined with that of Kate – we have our business expanded

Halfpenny London + Consequences

There is something magical about the Halfpenny brand – a certain alchemy for which only Kate and her fascination for fabrics, fashion, life, love and her observant eye for the world could always be responsible. I am totally addicted to it.

This week Kate brought out a great new collection, and the videos and pictures here make all the talking. I can’t deny I’m proud and excited that Kate chose to work with our visual content and branding partners and dear friends Zach & Grace.

After this video interview that I loved to produce with Kate last year, I’ll be interviewing Kate year-round soon. It was one of the first Zoom interviews I ever did – I think I’ve done about 74,599 zooms since then!

For now, let’s just dive into these great pictures and enjoy a video interview with Kate talking about her inspiration for this collection and her vision for the future as the wedding world emerges from standstill …

The Unveiled Collection includes 16 new garments, each inspired by the Halfpenny London archives. “The Revealed Collection is a love letter to my brides, past, present, and future.”

“It is a celebration of what is to come. Each veil is a symbol of hope and optimism for all the wonderful weddings that are celebrated now like never before, full of love and full of devotion.”

“Unveiled was born from the idea that inspiration can be as simple as changing perspective. So we looked inside again and used the legacy and hero Halfpenny London textiles to create something new.”

By the way, Zach & Grace aren’t just the greatest editorials like the one you see today, they’re the most talented and wonderful wedding photographers and videographers too – take a look at Love My Dress recommended list.

I couldn’t recommend them (and tear this real pair to pieces).

Zach & Grace + Consequences

Really, really breathtaking. Halfpenny London is stocked in some of the best bridal boutiques in the country. Kate also has a London-based studio and boutique in Bloomsbury – literally a 5-minute walk from Kings Cross Station.

The boutique, like all other bridal boutiques in England, will reopen on April 12th. To make an appointment, please contact the Halfpenny London team at hello@halfpennylondon.com or +44 (0) 20 7388 7300.

You can see all of the Halfpenny London brides whose weddings we have published here on Love My Dress – they are a joy to see.
