The University of Maryland Medical System shared a photo of Sarah Studley donning her white polka dot wedding dress while she was vaccinated on Sunday, WJZ reported.
“Here comes the bride … to be vaccinated at the M&T Bank Stadium mass vaccination site,” the health system jokingly said on social media. “Instead of just hanging the beautiful dress in her closet for her pandemic-canceled wedding reception, Sarah Studley wore it to get vaccinated.”
Studley had plans for a lavish wedding in Balboa Park in San Diego, WBAL reported. However, she had to cancel these plans amid the pandemic. After all, she had a minor ceremony in the area with immediate family.
Studley said staff took selfies and everyone was feeling so positive that the atmosphere at the vaccination site felt like a party.
