Jeannie Mai walked down the aisle in style on her big day.
Mai married rapper Jeezy on March 27, surrounded by immediate family and close friends at their Atlanta home.
The Real co-host, 42, told Vogue that she had always wanted to wear a Galia Lahav wedding dress, a dream that came true at the couple’s intimate wedding.
“I worked with my stylist Lisa Cera and Atelier Galia Lahav to customize the layers and the perfect shade,” Mai said of her dress, which featured sheer panels and hand-placed nude applications.
“I imagined this dress before it was even made,” she added. “I can’t believe it turned out so perfect. It’s the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen. “
She outfitted her bridal clothes with a handmade headdress that included a 15-foot Galia Lahav veil that her hairdresser had “impressively” sewn into her hair.
“For the hair and makeup, I wanted a smooth and graceful finish, along with a bit of drama,” explained Mai.
She wore her hair pulled back in a ponytail and completed the look with diamond and morganite earrings created by her friend Rosalina Lydster.
The 43-year-old Jeezy also opted for a special style and commissioned tailor Teofilo Flor and stylist Chris Shelby to design his bespoke champagne blush suit.
However, the new couple didn’t let their designer types stop them from ripping it up on the dance floor as they opted for more comfortable clothes at the front desk.
“Jeezy and I put on our own matching Versace silk pajamas,” said Mai. “And then we danced to our favorite hits all night and felt more comfortable than ever.”
While the guests were asked to wear cream colored clothing to the ceremony, this symbolized the “peace in [the couple’s] Union ”, according to Vogue, they were given“ individually monogrammed Cozy Earth pajamas ”at the after party.

Mai and Jeezy began their relationship in 2018 and got engaged in quarantine in 2020 after the rapper’s proposed proposal in Vietnam was thwarted by the pandemic.
It’s the first marriage for Jeezy, who has three children, and the second for Mai, who split from ex-husband Freddy Harteis in 2017 after a 10-year marriage.
